Our 3mm gloves are the perfect photography glove with maximum dexterity. The 5mm gloves blend movement with warmth and our 7mm mitts are suitable for icediving. Our glove liners and Xerotherm gloves are designed to maximise thermal performance with drygloves.
The secret to a great dive can be as simple as having warm hands and the dexterity to be able to use your camera or feel your valves for a shutdown. Fourth Element’s 3mm and 5mm wet gloves and 4mm and 7mm mitts use stretch neoprene with glued, stitched and welded seams to give a close fit that almost eliminates the entry of water, whilst maximising flexibility and warmth. The carbonite print on the outside of the glove provides good grip and improved durability. The glove liners are designed to work underneath dry gloves or wet mitts offering an additional layer of thermal protection and the Xerotherm wrist warmers were developed to provide an air gap for allowing air to move from the dry suit into the glove and provide thermal protection where it is otherwise difficult to achieve. The 5mm Kevlar gloves are designed to take a beating with fingertips covered, but still offering a surprising amount of dexterity from a Kevlar reinforced glove. Fourth Element supplies the Kevlar gloves to ‘ghost fishing’ net clearance teams all over the world as a means of supporting their work to rid the oceans of this form of plastic pollution.
New for 2018, the Xerotherm glove is an alternative dry glove liner which maximises low bulk thermal protection with outstanding dexterity.

The 3mm gloves give outstanding dexterity – ideal for photography and videography. Features include: stretch neoprene for fit and comfort, and a Thermoflex lining for warmth, sealed seams to minimise water ingress, easy donning minimalist design, and a carbonite finish for grip and durability.
The 5mm gloves offer the warmth and comfort comparable only to thicker traditional gloves. Features include: stretch neoprene for fit and comfort, and a Thermoflex lining for warmth, sealed seams to minimise water ingress, easy donning minimalist design, and a carbonite finish for grip and durability.
The 4mm mitts are deigned with stretch neoprene for fit and comfort with sealed seams to minimise ingress of water into the gloves. The minimalist design makes donning easy even when hands are cold and wet, and the carbonite finish provides excellent grip. These mitts offer surprising levels of dexterity whilst maintaining outstanding warmth.
The 7mm mitts are designed with stretch neoprene for fit and comfort with sealed seams to minimise ingress of water into the gloves. The minimalist design makes donning easy even when hands are cold and wet, and the carbonite finish provides excellent grip. These mitts offer surprising levels of dexterity whilst maintaining outstanding warmth.
The G1 Glove Liners can be used under drygloves or wet mitts. The 1.5mm hydrofoam provides the confidence that in the case of a dryglove failure, the glove liners will retain some of the thermal protection they offered when dry, and the bamboo derived fabric lining inside provides excellent thermal protection. The glove liners can be used with traditional thinsulate gloves in a layering system under the drygloves for extreme conditions.
The xerotherm wrist warmer is designed to be used with drygloves, and bridges the gap between a diver’s undersuit and dry glove liner. The wrist warmer sits below the drysuit seal, and allows air to equalise with the dryglove, preventing squeeze. In the case of a glove failure, the fabric is not too thick, meaning that water ingress will be minimal. The double layer of xerotherm fabric on the inside of the wrist provides enhanced protection for an area where blood flows close to the skin surface. Hands will therefore stay warmer for longer.
Cold fingers are often the first telltale signs of exposure on a long dive. The Xerotherm gloves provide excellent thermal protection as dryglove liners without being bulky, allowing for maximum dexterity.
Low-profile stitching offers comfort and greater sensitivity, and when used in conjunction with the Xerotherm wrist warmers and the original Xerotherm suit, the gloves complete (finger)tip to toe protection for the ultimate base layer.
The Xerotherm gloves also make excellent glove liners for use above water. Silicone fingertip protection provides extra grip and durability in key wear areas.
Ultra Hardwearing. Perfect for exploratory diving or situations where durability is of paramount importance. 5mm neoprene is reinforced with Kevlar in the palm and over the tips of the fingers to provide the optimum combination of warmth and protection in demanding conditions. The design has focussed on key activities which commonly cause wear including clipping and unclipping bolt-snaps. The thermoflex lining provides additional warmth and inner wrist print combined with double glued and blindstitched seams help to minimise water ingress.
