E-Commerce & Digital Experience Manager

We’re looking for an e-Commerce Manager & Digital Experience Manager join our team to help us expand and develop the company’s online capabilities. This is a new role for us and we require someone with experience, vision and drive to help us develop and expand our existing e-Commerce offering. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing an e-commerce store. You will have experience of driving continuous improvement in online sales and ideally have had some exposure to international markets. You will work closely with the sales, purchasing and marketing teams as well as the company directors to help develop and drive our sales strategy.


Whilst we are ideally looking for someone who is able to join us at our office in Helston, Cornwall, we are looking for the right person to join our team and would consider applications from candidates who are out of the area who would be happy to work from home.

Key responsibilities will include:

Analysing website usage and customer-behaviour on sites, interrogating Google Analytics and other statistics to identify areas of opportunity working within a marketing team.

Helping to create and implement the digital sales strategy including integrating email automations with website activity, taking responsibility for SEO research and ensuring its effectiveness across different global markets.

Working with the sales, marketing and dispatch teams to identify customer pain points and improve the customer experience both for B2C and B2B clients.

Maintain a high satisfaction of user experience

Keep abreast of new developments in the e-commerce world

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity from an eCommerce perspective

Creating and implementing strategic plans for online sales, ensuring all online products are listed and displayed correctly; controlling price reductions in logical progressions to maximise successful stock management. Determining shipping parameters across all territories, returns policies and analysing sales.

Preparing weekly reports analysing success of campaigns and assessing sales against KPIs to guide decision making and reactive changes.

Essential Skills:

Extensive WordPress and WooCommerce knowledge.

Detailed understanding of Google Analytics and similar applications.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Excel

Excellent working knowledge of automated email marketing applications e.g. Mail Chimp

Desirable Skills:

Experience of scuba diving is useful, but by no means essential.
