Marketing Manager

The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic approach to driving sales through creative marketing, be a team player and share the company’s ambitions of sustainability and passion for the marine environment.

Location

This role will be based in our head office in Helston, Cornwall. However, due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, the successful candidate will be home based until it is safe for our staff to return full time to our offices.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Role

Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the day to day management and overseeing Marketing teams work
  • Analyse marketing data from Google Analytics to steer marketing strategy
  • Conduct weekly performance analysis of web sales
  • Creating and analyse campaigns and automations
  • Lead on company photoshoots including concept planning, organising models, photographers and locations, creating stylesheets for outfits and shot lists, art direction on set for both photographer and models
  • Managing the marketing calendar to ensure smooth running and adequate preparation for campaigns
  • Liaising with advertisers
  • Create campaigns for new products, existing products and events and own the process from start to finish
  • Develop strategies and tactics to increase brand awareness and drive traffic
  • Managing Fourth Element’s customer journey online, analysing behaviour and steering company strategy
  • Liaising with outside key partners to implement partnerships and giveaways
  • Coordinating activity of the marketing team and wider company to ensure new products are ready to be launched D2C and B2B
  • Managing all written content for new products
  • Overviewing all company channels; organic, direct, social and referral to ensure they are driving company objectives
  • Oversee and approve all print and digital materials ensuring these follow brand guidelines
  • Producing product brochures rom concept through to print
  • Creating packaging designs
  • Creation of POS, vector and web graphics and infographics

Skills & Experience Required

  • Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro
  • Good knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Proficient in using Mail Chimp
  • Good understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Experienced in leading on professional photoshoots
  • Experience as Marketing Manager or similar role
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Experience of supporting SME Growth
  • Diving or Water sports Marketing knowledge desirable

Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced and well-versed production manager to join our Design Team in our Cornwall HQ on a full-time basis.

In conjunction with our design department head, this person will be responsible for the planning and execution of initial production orders to meet launch deadlines, supporting our Design Department to effectively manage the critical path of new product development through to initial bulk delivery. This role demands a high level of organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Location

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Agree and establish critical paths for all new products being developed by the design team
  • Ensure deadline for photoshoot and salesman samples are met, highlighting and solving any issues that arise
  • Ensure the initial production / manufacture of new products enable bulk to be delivered on time to meet deadlines
  • Establish and manage supplier relationships
  • Negotiate terms and supply contracts with manufactures and suppliers as required
  • Oversee the production process of new and bespoke products
  • Agree and Manage the production schedules with manufactures
  • Day to day contact with manufacturers
  • Manage testing of fabrics or garments to ensure any necessary certification or quality standards are achieved eg Fire
  • Retardancy and / or Thermal Protection
  • Manage and purchase all raw materials, fabrics and trims, to enable the manufacture of new products
  • Ensure production is cost effective
  • Manage price and cost data and present accurate costings for the manufacture and delivery of new products
  • Liaise directly with suppliers to ensure critical delivery dates are met
  • Liaise with our logistics manager as necessary on the initial and subsequent or future orders
  • Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes
  • Ensure all our suppliers achieve and maintain fair working conditions and pay for their employees.
  • Ensure child labour is not used in the manufacture of any of our products
  • Liaise and communicate with all fourth element departments involved in bringing new products to market with the appropriate assets in place.
  • Working with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
  • Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed

Skills and Experience required

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention and process driven
  • Strong communicator, able to negotiate prices and liaise with multiple manufactures and all relevant departments across Fourth Element
  • Adaptable and collaborative with the ability to prioritise
  • Strong team player
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent knowledge of garment production process
  • Excellent knowledge of garment production process cant experience of scheduling, planning and prioritising workflow to deliver on company deadlines
  • Previous experience in performance/ technical garment manufacture
  • Experience of supplying public sector contracts is desirable

Warehouse Manager

This role will be based in our head office in Helston, Cornwall.

Duties

Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Supervise and manage a team of 6 staff
  • Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, coordinating daily receipt and overseeing inbound goods, replenishment and the picking and dispatch of goods
  • Drive a culture where your team enjoy coming to work and you are a role model for our brand and values
  • Ensure maximum efficiency amongst the team, establishing priorities with customer service at the forefront
  • Enforce workplace health and safety and security rules at all times
  • Inspire and lead your team to achieve company targets and goals
  • Drive innovation and improvements within the warehouse operation and logistics
  • Liaise with sales, design and finance departments to ensure the efficient processing of goods received and goods dispatched to all customers.
  • Produce weekly and monthly operation reports
  • Create strong working relationships with third parties providing services and consumables essential to the efficient functioning of the warehouse.
  • Manage and resolve issues when goods in transit are delayed or go missing or couriers fail to deliver as planned.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Able to inspire and motivate others to achieve results
  • Knowledge of IT systems including MS Office and Warehouse management systems
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organisation skills

Online Sales and Customer Service Assistant

The successful candidate will be comfortable with multi tasking, being able to carry out the administration associated with picking, packing and processing orders to be shipped domestically and internationally.

Location

This role will be based in our head office in Helston, Cornwall.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Role

They will be expected to provide a high level of customer service on the telephone and via email, so a confident telephone manner and good literacy skills are a must. They will also be expected to process returns in a timely manner and update the various computer based systems as well as communicate with other departments. Other tasks associated with this role will include occasional processing of incoming goods, folding and packaging products, picking orders and preparing them for dispatch, as part of a busy team environment, but the majority of the role is dedicated to ensuring the smooth processing of online orders, maintaining an online shop and helping to provide excellent customer service.

Please be aware some lifting will be required (e.g. helping to unload deliveries), so candidates must be physically able.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.

Desirable skills

  • Customer service experience with online sales
  • Experience with stock control software and ecommerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with SAGE accounting systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Documents – especially Excel
  • Experience of scuba diving or watersports would be useful, but by no means essential.
