Um El Faroud wreck
The Um El Faroud is one of the Mediterranean’s most popular wreck dives. Awesome in size, yet accessible from the shore in most conditions.
In 1998, it was sunk following a tragic accident during a refit that killed 9 dock workers. It now provides a challenging site in what has become one of Europe’s premier wreck diving locations, Malta, where historical wrecks sit alongside purpose sunk diving attractions to produce World Class diving for all divers from Recreational to Technical.

Products for Testing
Maltaqua has the Thermocline neutrally buoyant wetsuit available to test on a “try before you buy” basis
Thermocline is currently used by students on dive courses with Maltaqua, but is also available to rent for €10. This cost will be deducted from the subsequent purchase of a new Thermocline set on production of the receipt.
The Thermocline neutrally buoyant wetsuit system comprises the long sleeved top and the "explorer" giving the equivalent protection to a 3mm wetsuit but weighing less than 1kg (2.2 lbs).
Thermocline also provides a real solution for people who suffer from neoprene allergies by eliminating contact between the skin and the wetsuit.
