Senior Technical Designer:

An exciting opportunity to join the leading UK Dive brand for someone with a detailed knowledge and understanding of design, development and production of watersports products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of all technical product from first sketch to final bulk production.

Applicants must have a good knowledge of performance fabrics, experience of designing and developing performance water sports garments, creative flair and strong graphic design ability and track record.

They will need to understand and adopt fourth element brand characteristics and ethos and support the Directors in managing the Critical Path and development of the Technical Diving Products.

Knowledge of and experience in working with global manufacturers, capable of producing world class water sports goods, is highly desirable.

Alongside the design and development role the candidate will need to be an effective communicator and capable of managing a small but focused team of four or five persons.

The successful candidate will need to travel to shows and to suppliers reviewing and reporting on their ability to manufacture products and deliver on the agreed critical path dates.

A knowledge of scuba diving would be an advantage but not essential.

A portable stakeholder pension scheme is available. Salary £30,000 – £45,000 plus benefits, depending upon experience.

Technical Garment Designer:

An exciting opportunity to join the leading UK Dive brand for someone with a detailed knowledge and understanding of design, development and production of watersports products.

The successful candidate will design and develop technical products / garments from first sketch to final bulk production.

Graphic Designer:

An exciting opportunity to join the leading UK Dive brand for someone with a detailed knowledge and ability in graphic design.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of all graphic design involved in the development and production of all products, including branding, swing tags, packaging, T shirt designs and all supporting literature in print and electronic versions.

Applicants must possess outstanding graphic design skills and be able to adopt fourth element brand characteristics and ethos and image within their designs, yet bring new ideas and show creative flair.

Experience of working within a commercial garment brand or manufacturer in the watersport market would be an advantage but not essential.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work within a small and focused team and be prepared to travel to trade shows and exhibitions both to source new materials and to represent fourth element.
