Becky Kagan Schott

Underwater Videographer / Photographer / Stereographer / Adventurer

Becky has always been attracted to water, but her curiosity about what lay beneath the waves became an obsession from a young age. She always knew documenting the underwater world is what she wanted to do. Becky is an Emmy Award winning underwater cameraman, photographer and technical diver whose work can be seen on major networks including National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and Animal Planet. She specializes in bringing back video from challenging aquatic environments including caves, under ice, shipwrecks to sharks. Becky has over 20 years of dive experience logging thousands of hours underwater. She is a SDI / TDI Technical Scuba Instructor, and holds certifications in Cave diving, Tri-Mix, Rescue, and several closed circuit Rebreathers. As a cameraman her projects have taken her all over the globe from documenting historic wrecks in over 300 feet of water in Japan and the Great Lakes, to rappelling into caves, filming under ice in the Bering Sea and even diving cage less with Great White Sharks. Her experience working in remote locations around the world and facing the challenges of filming in extreme environments has earned her a reputation of producing quality images in challenging situations. She's participated in several expeditions that earned her a place as a Fellow in the Explorers Club and in 2013 Becky was inducted into the Women Divers Hall of Fame.

Becky has worked closely with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution's Advanced Imaging and Visualization Laboratory using the latest in HD and 3D technology both above and below the surface. With them she's participated in several projects with the National Park Service and NOAA. Projects include documenting famous wrecks such as the USS Monitor, the U-869 and the 2010 Titanic Expedition. She also worked on NOAA's Battle of the Atlantic Expedition and "Project Shiphunt" documenting virgin wrecks in Lake Huron.

Becky feels fortunate to be able to combine her two passions in life, photography and diving. She also believes in conservation through education, and there is no better way to educate and inspire someone about our underwater world than through compelling imagery. Becky holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Tampa in Journalism. She currently lives in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and in her free time can be found diving caves in Florida or trying to regrow her basil plant that seems to keep perishing while she's traveling the globe.

Becky is a Technical Diving International Megalodon Rebreather Instructor and teaches a variety of other technical diving courses. She is also a Fellow in the Explores Club, in the Women Divers Hall of Fame, a member of the Karst Underwater Research Team, Phantom Springs Cave Exploration Team, and The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

David Schott, MBA

Managing Member / Underwater Videographer / Stereographer / Explorer

David Schott is a professional underwater Videographer, Stereographer, 3D Camera Operator and Technical diver. Diving since 1999 he has logged thousands of dives both open water and technical. He holds certifications in Trimix, Full Cave, Rescue, Ice diving and several Closed Circuit Rebreathers. Living and working in the Philadelphia area, he first became actively involved in Northeast wreck diving. He then earned his full cave certification and began diving cave systems in Florida and Mexico. After numerous technical dives, Dave realized the need to switch to closed circuit rebreathers in order to extend bottom times for videography on deep and technical cave dives. Now with thousands of hours on the Megalodon Rebreather, he has the comfort, technical ability, and skills needed for deep dives in many challenging environments ranging from the shallows of the Caribbean to depths in excess of 400 feet off of New Jersey, as well as North and Central American Cave systems.

David has worked on many projects with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution's (WHOI) Advanced Imaging and Visualization (AIVL) laboratory including NOAA's "Project Shiphunt" in Lake Huron and the 2011 Battle of the Atlantic Expedition documenting the historic wrecks in North Carolina. Dave has been diving and documenting many famous shipwrecks including the USS Monitor, the Andrea Doria and participated in the 2010 Titanic Expedition. He is currently working as one of the primary underwater videographers documenting the exploration of the deepest cave in the United States at over 400 feet deep. He also worked as a stereographer for the first Discovery commissioned 3D program and many other 3D programs both in-air and underwater. He has experience shooting aerials from planes and airships, trekking through the swamp, and diving under 6ft of ice for the perfect shot. David has worked as a model, safety diver, underwater camera operator, stereographer, and topside videographer on documentaries and educational DVD's from the caves of Florida to the beaches of Hawaii.

Dave earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics/Public Policy at Lebanon Valley College. He completed his MBA at Widener University with a concentration in Finance and Marketing in 2004. Dave commits his time and availability to the management and projects of Liquid Productions, LLC.

David has won an Emmy Award and an Edward R. Murrow for his work.

David is also a Fellow in the Explorers Club, on the Board of Directors for the ADM Exploration Foundation, a member of the Karst Underwater Research team, National Association for Cave Diving, as well as a member of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
