Andy is also a budding underwater film producer, and his film Three Lakes Challenge was highly commended at the 2008 British Underwater Image Festival.
Andy Torbet has been diving since the age of 12 when he had great ambitions of becoming an underwater explorer and adventurer. He carried these boyhood dreams into the Armed Forces where he spent time as a paratrooper and diver, including serving with the Army’s Underwater Bomb Disposal Team.

He has explored remote parts of the East African coast, deserted islands in the Philippines, searched for shipwrecks in Southern Patagonia and explored the submerged passages of caves in the Scottish Highlands, producing films and articles on his exploits.
A qualified Mountaineering Instructor and survival specialist he has used Fourth Element products above and below the water in a range of testing conditions.
